I don't care about Valentine's Day...I don't celebrate it nor do I dwell on it. Granted, I give hugs and kisses to people I love and care about. I'll buy myself a bottle of wine and take myself out to dinner and buy myself a heart shaped container of assorted chocolates. But Valentine's Day really means nothing to me. But I know there are people out here that will absolutely think about committing suicide, if they have nothing to do on Valentine's Day. So I decided to provide a list of things to do on Valentine's Day when you're bored. Whether you are single or not. Thank me later.
1. Nicholas Sparks novel based movie "Safe Haven" is coming out on VDay. If you have seen one Nicholas Sparks movie, you've seen them all. Beautiful Creatures is coming out, its like Twilight minus the glitter and fangs. A Good Day to Die Hard is coming out.. I would rather see this than the others.
2. Go to Barnes&Nobles and read a book in the Sexuality section. I do this all the time and it is so funny what they have in those books. Like the Kama Sutra, how to get an orgasm. You would probably also find yourself reading the self-help section and analyzing yourself.
3. Grab a friend, go to the bar and take shots all night. While you're shooting whiskey, patron or whatever else, bash your exes to each other. You'll feel liberated, free and so much better. Turn your phone off to not send drunk texts and DO NOT DRIVE DRUNK.
4. Go shopping...If you're broke...Go window shopping. You would be so depressed over what you can't afford to buy, that you will forget all about Valentine's Day. :D
5. Write a love letter to your crush and send it. Anybody who has ever had a crush has stalked them. Put the love letter at his/her desk, mail box, car hood...It can be anonymous or if you're bored put your name.
6. Flirt with some random person on a social network that is in your area and meet up with him in a public place. You're only doing this because you're bored so if he cat fishes you, who cares? If he's ugly who cares? Its a free meal and bring some cash just in case he's broke. You can pay for your own and leave him there.
7. Leave trolling comments on all the instagram, facebook and twitter pics people are going to post of them and their "bae" on Valentine's Day. Pop some popcorn, pour a drink, and get your troll on.
Have Fun!!!
I am a Christian child abuse survivor, who has PTSD. No! I do NOT suffer from it. Yes. I take medication for it. I have known I had it for years but thought it was such a bad psychosis I went into denial. But I am here to let all Child Abuse Survivors and women with PTSD know that they are not alone. We can't do it yourselves, but with Christ we can!!!

My BEEF with Natural Hair Care Entrepreneurs
So for the past three years women with natural hair have been starting their own business mixing good products to bring curl, growth and healthiness to women transitioning from relaxed hair to natural. And that is all well and fine because I support small businesses and anyone out here trying to bring positivity to the black community. But how in the hell do you expect us women with natural hair to pay for this priced mess? Its a recession out here and I know you'll know this. You probably lost your jobs when the economy went in the toilet, you started your own business by selling your own concotions of scented shea butters and hair puddings. So why would you charge 25.00 for a 4oz bottle of shampoo? Why would you charge 38.00 bucks for a 8oz container of Curly Pudding? What is in this stuff? Extract from Jack's magic beans?
Brand name products are much cheaper than the small business products. In order for me to stick to a hair care regime using products from small natural hair businesses, I would have to work over time and get another job. I feel as though these people are taking advantage of the natural hair community mindset. The big fad is bringing the curl pattern out of natural hair kinks. So women with natural hair are buying all these products to get their hair to a texture where its not. Well I have news for you,you might as well get a texturizer because if you dont have a fine, curly texture then you will just continue to waste your money being a "product junkie". Just going bankrupt to get your hair what its not. Embrace and accept your hair for what it is.
Natural hair people that are promoting these "Curly" products that are expensive as all hell should be ashamed of yourselves. You can use an all natural, inexpensive product and do a twist out just the same. *flips fro*
