Delicious Books to Read

This book had me on the edge of my seat, biting my tongue trying to figure out what could happen next. It involves three young women who are actively involved in the same church. They each go to the first lady for Christian counseling involving risky and consequential decisions that have been made involving their passion for a particular man. This is a must read.

This novel focuses on the Book of Esther, particularly when Queen Vashti refuses to obey her husband when he summoned her. Jana, our main character, is a 24-year old new bride, married to a man 12 years  her senior with a sexual appetite that has her questioning her Christian morals. Every Christian woman who is engaged her single should definitely read this book.

Compromising in Relationships for Your Mate's Wants

I was talking to a black woman on campus a couple of weeks ago. She is currently in a interracial relationship with an Asian male,  she was in love, very happy, and content. Bonnie (Her name has been changed) told me that this was her first interracial relationship and then she proceeded to tell me that he gives her the best sex she's ever had. I didn't really care to hear about her sex life with her man. That was way too much information that should be kept in the bedroom, however my mouth dropped in stupefied shock when she told me they were in an open relationship. I know that there are a lot of couples out here, who like to um, add partners to their bedroom to spice up their life. But I was in shock because she casually told me that she allowed her man to have sex partners, because she had a low sex drive.
We all know that the christian lifestyle consist of celibacy, so of course I didn't agree with this kind of thing. I also didn't hide the look of disgust on my face as she told me this information. I didn't want to come off as judgmental but I had to ask her why didn't they just have a relationship that didn't involve sex. She proceeded to tell me that he has a very high sex drive, and that he does practice safe sex. That isn't the point. I asked her was she happy with this? She told me that sometimes she gets jealous but he does allow her to choose the women he's interested in and does interview them.
I kept it real with her and told her that I can tell she's not happy with this, I also told her that there is a man out there that will love and respect her. She told me she was happily in love and that she doesn't mind. Ladies, when will this stop? Compromising in relationships just to feel love from a man. Laying down your boundaries, self-respect and dignity just to feel a warm body next to you. This young lady did not practice the christian faith and she was more on the agnostic side. Agnostics tend to be very argumentative when it comes to religion, however I still try to tell them about Christ. Of course, 99% of the time they aren't trying to hear it, so I just put them on my prayer list.
It saddens me when young men and women continue to allow themselves to be used, abused and mistreated because the sex is so good. This is probably why God does not want us having premarital sex at all. Emotions get involved and no one is able to think with a clear head. Trust me. I know. No matter what people say, sex without marriage will only have you up confused, emotionally tangled and perhaps bitter. Celibacy isn't easy due to temptations swarming all around us but it beats having a broken heart, a cluttered mind, and feeling like pieces of you are being snatched away whenever that person treats you like dirt. Think about it.

Sick and Tired of Self Help Books Written for Women By Men

Steve Harvey has started an annoying, ugly, disturbing  trend. Ever since he wrote his original novel "Walk Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" men everywhere feel the need to write self help books to us women about what we need to do to search for a man, keep a man, help a man, and how to make our men stay with us. What's really sickening is that there are poor, weak, heart broken women everywhere, who want a man so bad that they are actually buying these books in bulk. If men were so smart, wouldn't they write books to their fellow man on how to treat a lady? No. Why? Because they know some women are very curious about the male species' mind and will go through great lengths to find out why Terrence won't propose to her, although they have been living together for six years. Although the answer is sitting right in front of her face, she would rather spend 19.99 or more on a book to read what she wants to hear, instead of facing what she know is the truth. Terrence will not propose to you, because you are already living, screwing, and taking care of him so he's thinking what the heck does he need a ring and a piece of paper for, when he is comfortable just the way things are.
I have browsed Barnes & Nobles self improvement section and there are so many books for women by men on relationship advice that I literally laughed out loud. But this book by Ray-J and Max Billionaire or whatever his tired name is just took the cake. "Death of The Cheating Man:What Women Must Know About Men Who Stray" .  I skimmed the book and immediately thought about slipping it into the garbage can. Basically, these two airheads are telling women that all men are going to cheat regardless, and that we should just accept it. See, this is the reason why there are bitter, angry, women walking around snapping on any man that approaches them. This is also the reason why there are so many women stuck in relationships with cheating, no good men. Some women are beginning to turn into mindless sheep just following what these men say and reading these books like they're the gospel.
It has even gotten sad on twitter. Lovesick women falling in love with tweets from self help authors who constantly write advice on how women feel. But here is my question. How the *beep* does a man know how women feel inwardly. Seriously, not to be funny but I don't know how it feels to be a man living in this world, so I'm not going to go around tweeting and writing up books on how to survive and live as a man living in America and beyond. Women, if you keep listening to these men and taking heed to what their books say, you will find yourself lonely and in debt.
Steve Harvey is dead wrong for that nintey day probation theory. First of all, how in the world are going to tell the world you are a Christian, but tell women to give it up after ninety days. Mind you, he didn't even confirm whether or not the relationship would be official. He just said withold benefits for ninety days. So basically, Steve is saying that after ninety days, instead of us being in an official relationship I would have a friend with benefits? Not only that, but giving it up after ninety days does not gaurantee that you will have a man or a friend. You may wind up looking like Joan Clayton, confused, bitter, angry, nervous, sad and depressed. Then you will be on to the next one.
Steve is about to have some women turn into ninety day whores. Every ninety days, a women sleeps with a new man. How sad. I think men are just writing these books because they know it is a good hustle. There are thousands of women are out here who are baffled as to why they can't keep or get a man, and are willing to go to the ends of the earth to find out. Including purchasing an overpriced book by some bozo who doesn't what a Gspot is let alone how to treat a woman. Can I kick it?

My Favorite Gospel Songs

Noteworthy Novels to Read

I read this novel a few years back and I was quite disturbed by the horrible abuse inflicted not just all of the children, but especially on this child due to her dark skin tone. Me as an advocate against child abuse I was surprised that singled out abuse amongst siblings existed as far back.

This novel was one of the best novels I have read in a long time. Tells the story of four women who are the lover of their masters. Every summer they are taken to Ohio which is a free state to spend time with their "men" at a resort, specifically for masters to take their black mistresses. While two of the slavewomen hate what they have become, one of them acts as if she doesn't mind at all, and one is in love with her master. I couldn't help but ponder if she could be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

The Illuminati, My Take on the Paranormal

I used to watch videos on youtube that talked about how certain artists who's music is not that great, are able to obtain over ten grammys at a time. I would also watch the videos that would play popular music artists' music backwards, revealing hidden satanic messages in the songs. I used to laugh at the videos because I thought that they were being made by eccentric people who believed that the Mayans predicted that the world was ending in 2012. However, as I watched more videos, more things were starting to make sense.
As I listend to more interviews from celebrity artists, the illuminati theory began to make more sense. I'm not saying that there is a particular organization out there called the illuminati but I do believe that artists are selling their souls to satan for fame and fortune. Have you ever wondered how artists who couldnt sell a bottle of water to a man in the desert  were able to sell a million copies of their album over night? Or people who just arrived in the music industry with the most horrible music, and were able to just keep selling millions and millions of albums?
Katy Perry said it herself in an interview that she sold her soul to the devil for fame. She was a christian contemporary artist who was not getting the popularity she wanted, so she sold her soul to the devil. Many music artists as well as actors, models, producers, people who used to struggle in the music industry are selling their souls for fame. Even artists who have been dropped from labels due to lack of album sales are bouncing back stronger than ever, out of the blue with record breaking songs.
My take? Its scary and sad. People want fame and money so bad that they would rather sell their souls to the devil and bask in the spotlight now, then to think about what happens life after death. Tomorrow isn't promised to not one soul that's walking on this earth, so they could easily die and go straight to hell at anytime.  You can't take grammys, mansions, jewels, glitz and glamour with you in your casket. And the fans that shower all of these artists with attention is definitely not going with them when they die. I used to wonder to myself how does one sell their soul to the devil? I mean how can someone just pray to the devil? But I experienced the temptation and urge myself in the midst of my storms.
Everything was going wrong at once for so long and I felt like there was no way out at all whatsoever. My faith was almost gone, and I just felt like I couldn't take it anymore. I felt a lot of anger towards God and I really felt like he forgot about me because I was just in one bind after another after another and so on. I started thinking that if the devil was on my back because I was on God's team, and if everybody else who weren't Christians were winning because the devil never bothered them, then maybe I should go on his team for awhile just until this storm blows over. What a dumb theory. So happy I had people interceding for me in prayer. That would have made me a total sellout for Satan, which is totally not cool. Thank God He put me in my right mind before I went through with it.
Another thing I wanted to discuss was the paranormal. I've noticed that a lot of people are dipping and dabbing into paranormal activity which is a very dangerous thing. Its like daily that I run into young people in their late teens that are heavily into paraphenomena, voodoo, and the paranormal. Studying these subjects one of the ways portals in the spirit realm are able to open and take over. Please do yourself favor and just stay away from these things. Trust me. Its not cool, its not adventerous and it is definitely not the "In" thing to do. Watch these videos, and think.

Not Feeling Like It, Sexual Abuse Rally

I really haven't felt like doing much of nothing lately. With finals, and searching for a job to take up my whole summer so I can get my hustle on has been consuming my life. I am also in the midst of writing a novel that I plan to turn into a series. I get up at the crack of dawn and start my day, and at night I end my night by reading Psalm 91. But I must confess, I have been dodging bible study lately to avoid being questioned by the Pastor about things that are going on. I just don't feel like talking about it anymore, not until it is over and done with anyway. I feel like I have to drag myself to church, but I enjoy church, it enlightens me and makes me feel better.
I have been really busy so I haven't been able to blog as much either, but I haven't been feeling like blogging anyway. So you guys haven't really missed much. Oh! Before I forget. The Sexual Abuse Awareness Rally on Saturday went extremely well. They passed out bracelets and we all marched around Lafayette Park with our poster boards. People beeped their horns, cars slowed down and of course we had an ignorant counterprotester that got arrested for harassment. I spoke out against Sex Abuse Awareness and shared a bit of my story. A lot of women spoke up and spoke out, it was a beautiful thing. Tears even flowed. I had a good time, it really took my mind off of what was going on in my life. But I will definitely keep you all posted.

Lots of Love,

T.M
