Date Tonight, My Incomplete Short Story, Avoiding the Flu

I have a date tonight...I don't know what to wear and I am not really excited. The guy is twelve years older than me but looks like he is in his twenties. I met him when six o clock in the morning dashing for the shuttle to get to work. We cracked a few jokes on the train, made conversation and then exchanged numbers. He told me we could do whatever and he just didnt like night clubs. Thats fine with me because I've been over the club scene. I explained that I had a long work week and dinner and drinks would be just fine. So now I'm sitting at work trying to figure out what the heck to wear tonight. I thought about wearing a cute black dress but it is freezing and raining outside so I think I'm going to wear a cute, sexy pantsuit. Of course, I know the rules of a first date and the number one rule is to always carry enough cash to at least get a way home. So anyway, my date is at 9:15pm and I am letting you all know this just in case he kidnaps me. But then again you know he gon' bring my ass back.
Anyway, my readers are cursing me out right now because I started a short story blog and part I of the story was so good, that readers were dying for more. So then I did part II and never finished Part III. Sorry!!! Please forgive me!!! Between work, school, and other things in life that get in my way I have had no time at all to complete the stories. On top of that, I have an incomplete novel on my hands and an artist I'm managing. *Deep breath*. Then the nurse at my doctor's office lost my prescription so I have been off my meds for four days...Chile...But anyway, I count it all joy. But the short story and the novel I am currently writing will be complete in no time! I promise!!
Along with trying to get projects done I have been trying to avoid the flu, which infecting everybody like a damn plague. The CDC are involved and 50 people have died already babies included. So I went to the natural foods store and purchased some black walnut tincture. Black Walnut kills, parasites, fungus and bacteria and is really good for intestinal health. However, the side effects are horrible. I experienced extreme stomach cramping, nausea and constipation. It got so bad I had to google side effects and talk to someone on a forum. The person on the forum reassured me that the side effects were normal. So then I started popping echinacea pills like candy, which are herb capsules that boost your immune system and I'm sipping herbal tea.
So this is what the beginning of my new year has been like. By the way, go to www.PersuadeMagazine.com...Thanks
